Text Box: The "Waddle"  procedure, is most effective when done in combination with other procedures. This can correct abnormalities in the surrounding areas such as neck liposuction, along with a mini upper lift to addresses the jowls and mandibular angle. The internal suspension produced by the "Waddle" procedure is long lasting and has benefited many patients.   Specific questions as to recovery and swelling need to be addressed at the time of the consultation. Recovery is dependent on the age of the patient as well as the extent and number of procedures done at the time of surgery. A patient can appear presentable within 3 days of surgery. It is based on the principle of the threading a soft pliant material as a suspension to tighten the neck structure. This can be accomplished through an out-patient type of procedure, without having the classical resection of skin or the classical scars that occur behind the ears.
